Can Your Logo Cost You Business?

Another Monday Morning Website Tip by
Marcus Rangel
Have you ever pulled up your website and looked at your logo and asked yourself this question, does my logo look a little “tired.”
Having a “tired” logo can actually cost you business because if you think of how people scan your website it’s from left to right (or on a phone top to bottom), and what’s at the top of every website? Your logo. So if your logo doesn’t appease the eye in those first few seconds people visit your site, it can be costing you business.
Here’s what I mean by tired, a logo that if you looked at it just for a few seconds doesn’t seem like it is fresh.
Here’s the good news.
I would say 99% of logos have a great idea of where they came from, it may just need a simple refresh. A god example of this is what we did for Engroff Catering when we relaunched their website, it came with a modern twist to their former logo.
I’m also going to say that it’s not easy for everyone transitioning from an earlier logo for everyone, but when you make the switch, it’s like a fresh haircut 🙂
Take a look below to see what I mean.

How do you know if you need a new logo?
I would challenge you to pull up your website, take a glance at it for 3 seconds and ask yourself the question, “does my logo look tired.”

About Marcus Rangel
I've been working with small businesses owners to craft not only beautiful custom websites, but clear, clever and concise messages to reach their prospects since 2005.
I officially hung up my "corporate cleats" to be an entrepreneur and small business owner in the summer of 2020. IMC, which started as a side hustle early in the mornings before the sun was even up in 2017, is what led me down this path as a business owner myself. I focus on helping other business owners continually stay in front of people & prospects with digital marketing, create websites that get leads with great engagement, and produce video content that are meant for the digital era we're in.
When I'm not creating, you can find me hanging out with my incredible family on our front lawn or on my OneWheel around the big city of Topeka, KS.

We’re going to look at those 4 key areas that make a great Tulsa web design below.
How can you tell if your website is successful a year from now? It’s the same way I’m measuring if I can do more pushups than my 6 year old son… who has set the bar of 800 push ups in one day, no kidding. It’s so good that I even took a picture so it will become instantly memorable for you as well. Berts Tavern – We only look expensive. Why do Anna and I laugh every single time we drive by this “fine” establishment?…
