Another Monday Morning Website Tip by Marcus Rangel
This week let’s get you a win on your website to kick off your Monday. This won’t cost you anything, it’s literally free and if you have someone on your staff who can field the messages coming in, this is a no brainer to get better engagement on your site.
It’s called Drift, and it’s awesome!
It’s the little popup in the corner that alerts guests to your site that you have a live person there to answer their questions. It shows their picture, the option to have a personalized message (so it sounds like them), and looks really slick.
Did I mention it’s FREE?
There are paid versions of their program, (read about it here), but I’ve found that the free version works great! What are you waiting for? I had to take this off of my site because there were too many messages/leads coming in for me to answer in real time.
P.S. Has anyone else ever noticed that anything Johnny Morris is a part of is simply amazing? He’s the guy that owns Bass Pro Shops and his aquarium in Springfield was one of the coolest spots we ever stopped at. I love how everything he does is done with excellence… just look at our kids enjoying it!
About Marcus Rangel
I've been working with small businesses owners to craft not only beautiful custom websites, but clear, clever and concise messages to reach their prospects since 2005.
I officially hung up my "corporate cleats" to be an entrepreneur and small business owner in the summer of 2020. IMC, which started as a side hustle early in the mornings before the sun was even up in 2017, is what led me down this path as a business owner myself. I focus on helping other business owners continually stay in front of people & prospects with digital marketing, create websites that get leads with great engagement, and produce video content that are meant for the digital era we're in.
When I'm not creating, you can find me hanging out with my incredible family on our front lawn or on my OneWheel around the big city of Owasso, OK.
Does your website need help?
There are so many ideas out there of where your call to action should be and how to market it but have you ever just asked yourself, would I want this or is this a great value to someone else? It seems if we just step back and ask ourself that question it will help us really pivot to making a better offer. And in the end, if you want to help people they will see the value you are providing and want to work with you in the end anyways. Here’s a thought: If it doesn’t hurt to give it away, the give or offer isn’t big enough. One of my favorite gives of all time that I have experienced was a free audio…Read More
If you’ve taken the time to read your county’s or state’s guidelines for reopening this past week, did you read the entire document or scan it to find out exactly what you were looking for? I bet 95% of us scanned it, and I’ll tell you why. We don’t have time to read 10 pages of text, or at least we think we don’t. People are looking for headlines to grab their attention. If we find a headline, then we are looking for bullets to define the details of that headline. This is why it’s so important that we take these things into consideration, whether it’s your website, your email campaigns, or any PDF we put out digitally. Did you know that most people leave a website within 10 seconds? And…Read More
