IMC Awarded 2026 Cinematography Video of the Year by Pro MovieMaker Magazine
Another Monday Morning Website Tip by Marcus Rangel

I had never been to Wyoming until the summer of 2025… and I can’t believe it took that long! I got the great chance to work with a 3rd generation ranch owner, Andy Stellpflug, to help share his family’s legacy of their ranching operation that’s been around since 1913.
Now I did get to experience pretty much every type of weather when I was up there including rain, breathtaking sunrises, strong winds, and quiet sunsets. But all of that led to a video that I was really proud to submit to the 2026 Pro Movie Maker Filmmaker of the Year Awards. I just got word today that it won, making IMC a two time winner! I had previously won in 2023 for the drone work for NextGen’s “Prairie Burn” video.
But this video wouldn’t have won without the great storytelling of both Andy and his dad, Glen Stellpflug. They both captivate you with the way they can tell a good story. My job was to make sure the visuals in their story were showcased well.
It really is an honor to get an award for something you work so hard on. It makes the early morning wakeup call at 4:30 and going til sunset worth every minute. I really feel blessed to be able to get to do what I do when I’m filming something… and I can’t wait to share with you what I filmed at the Stellpflug ranch just a few weeks ago, even better sunrise and drone shots that surprised myself how cool they were coming out.
Here’s what ProMovieMaker Magazine said after they awarded the video, you can read the full article and see the other winners by clicking here.
Great cinematography is about far more than beautiful pictures. It’s about using light, composition, movement and perspective to support a story and create an emotional connection.
This year’s cinematography winner, Marcus Rangel, reflected exactly that with his film for Stellpflug Cattle Co, a third-generation ranching family based in the spectacular landscapes of Wyoming. The film combines breathtaking aerial footage with intimate documentary-style moments and beautifully observed close-ups.
Every shot feels purposeful, balancing the scale of the vast ranching environment with the personal stories at its heart. Rangel’s work captures both the rugged beauty of the landscape and the dedication of the people who work it, blending cinematic drone sequences, dynamic action shots and carefully crafted details into a cohesive visual narrative.
About Marcus Rangel
I've been working with small businesses owners to craft not only beautiful custom websites, but clear, clever and concise messages to reach their prospects since 2005.
I officially hung up my "corporate cleats" to be an entrepreneur and small business owner in the summer of 2020. IMC, which started as a side hustle early in the mornings before the sun was even up in 2017, is what led me down this path as a small business owner myself. I focus on helping other small business owners continually stay in front of people & prospects with email marketing, create websites that generate leads with great engagement, and produce video content that are meant for the digital era we're in.
When I'm not creating, you can find me hanging out with my incredible family on our front lawn or on my OneWheel around the big city of Owasso, OK.

Your website’s most visited page is… you guessed it, your homepage! That’s why I always recommend having a “message from the owner/founder” on the homepage. It immediately humanizes your brand for the website visitor and puts a face to your company. It also leads your website visitor to the about us page (most likely your second most visited page) if worded and done right. What your message should contain: Here are three website examples that I’ve designed and launched recently in 2026 that feature a “Message from the owner” for you to check out! https://walkermasonryinc.com/ https://dupreefarms.com/ https://steep.marketing/
One of the biggest improvements you can make to your existing website is your navigation. The standard “dropdown” is great, but upgrading to a well designed navigation dropdown – or super navigation is really a showstopper. Think about it this way, if a new website visitor is choosing in 5 seconds or less if they want to stay on your website, showcasing your navigation is a great way to stop them in their tracks to want to look around longer. Have you ever struggled with getting clients to leave you a review on google? It might feel a bit uncomfortable at first, but in my experience if you ask at the right time, it’s not uncomfortable at all… and with AI searches now sometimes including your google reviews next to the result, this is very important. This process is easy, almost as easy as Mahomes, Brady, or Jordan used to have getting to the big game (if only Josh Allen could get his hands on those keys LOL). There’s just 3 keys to this to work. This is not a one-size fits all approach for every business, but by all means this should give you a framework to make a process. Step 1: Timing: When’s…
