Tulsa Ad Agencies – 4 Questions to Ask

Another Monday Morning Website Tip by Marcus Rangel
When you begin a search for the Top Tulsa Ad Agencies, you must arm yourself with the top questions you should ask before you sign the dotted line.

Ultimately, there are so many good Tulsa Ad agencies out there, however, there are certain agencies that will work better than others depending on your business and budget.
Who will you be working with?
This all depends on the size of agency you will be working with. If you are looking to work with a larger agency, expect to work with an account manager throughout the relationship with the agency. This can be a great solution as long as the account manager stays at the agency, but once they leave expect your business to be transitioned to a different account manager.
If you work with a smaller or more boutique ad agency, expect to work with the owner of the agency or a smaller team of people on your project.
As a person who’s worked with a large and now owns a small agency, I have found business owners who like a long relationship tend to prefer the smaller approach to an agency – but this is not a one size fits all approach. The bigger the team or agency, the more ideas you’ll get and sometimes more experience if you add all the years together. The smaller the team, they are probably giving more attention to your account.
What does the Tulsa ad agency specialize in?
Many agencies have chosen a path of specialization. A generalist in everything is not a specialist in anything. That’s why this question is very important to the project and your goals for your business relationship with an agency.
What’s the average time it takes to finish a type of project?
Time, this is key to you actually getting what you’re potentially paying for. Ask a specific question. If you are looking to have a new Tulsa web design done for your business. Ask, how long does it typically take to finish a website with your business, how long did the last 2 take? Get specific to see if their timelines fit your expectations.
How much will everything cost?
The obvious question to anything right? After you’ve asked the above questions and gone through a Tulsa Ad Agency portfolio, you should know have the tools to understand what you are getting into as far as a budget. Remember, if you want quality don’t expect to be charged cheap. You ultimately get what you pay for with anything, including an ad agency.

About Marcus Rangel
I've been working with small businesses owners to craft not only beautiful custom websites, but clear, clever and concise messages to reach their prospects since 2005.
I officially hung up my "corporate cleats" to be an entrepreneur and small business owner in the summer of 2020. IMC, which started as a side hustle early in the mornings before the sun was even up in 2017, is what led me down this path as a business owner myself. I focus on helping other business owners continually stay in front of people & prospects with digital marketing, create websites that get leads with great engagement, and produce video content that are meant for the digital era we're in.
When I'm not creating, you can find me hanging out with my incredible family on our front lawn or on my OneWheel around the big city of Owasso, OK.
Does your website need help?
Shoot me an email: marcus@innovativemediacreators.com
Like any business, you have a list of customers and prospects, the biggest question about that email list is how often should you email them without being annoying? Or better worse, someone hitting the unsubscribe button and you feeling like they just said in Travis Kelce fashion, “know your role and shut your mouth!” I recently could tell that a national bank that we have a savings account with got a new email marketing plan because I am getting emails non-stop lately from them. To make it worse, they are pitching me on getting student loans with them (almost every other day) – which also means they don’t have their audience fine tuned either if you know me and the last year I attended college…

Honestly I’m pretty humbled that this video I made for NextGen Cattle won this award recently. I couldn’t have done this without the incredible cowboy poetry from Clint Raulerson, or working with a team like NextGen that always just lets me run creatively with whatever I think will look amazing to highlight their brand. Thank you as well to Rachel Lock who captured some in action pics of me during the burn! There’s two links to check out about this, the first is the video if you haven’t seen it: The second is the article that just dropped: click…
