Why you must have a sales email campaign if you capture leads

If you capture leads online, have you ever thought about how those leads should be treated differently than say someone that’s been on your list for 6 months to a year? If you’ve been around sales at all, you know that if someone calls into your office and talks to you – you would consider them either a hot or cold lead throughout your process.
Why is it that we treat online leads any different than someone that we’ve talked to?
Because they are just warming up to you and your business if they’ve requested an item of value from your site. So if someone just requested a Whitepaper, a promo code, or a book you wrote from your site, that is why we must start treating them differently in the ONLINE sales process and why a sales email campaign is so important to your business.
Let’s think about it this way.
Someone requests something from your site, you add them to your list, and they start to receive your (hopefully) weekly email drip that you send out, but maybe it’s monthly.
Take it a step further, say they signed up for something and your list was emailed already yesterday and your next email doesn’t go out until a month later, you just waited almost a month before they got something from you.
What if you could develop a drip that treated those leads differently before you ever added them to your standard drip (which is still very necessary), how cool would that be?
That’s why in next week’s tip – I’m going to show you HOW to build a sales email campaign. The great thing about it is, that once you come up with this campaign, you can use it over and over again.
You heard me right, if it works as great as it should, as Squintz would say in (from one of my all time favorite movies that we just introduced our kids to) “The Sandlot,” FOREVER!
